Packing your cases

How to pack a suitcase? You may think you know the answer to this question, but you should read the following article and discover some tips and tricks you did not know. Especially in the era of low cost flights, it is important to pack right, smart and economical. Any excess  may result in additional charge, and little headache for you. Before you start throwing things into a suitcase, you have to figure out what to take. Choose two outfits per day (morning and evening). Remember that most of the clothes you pack on holiday are unnecessary. You do not need to pack a third outfit per day. Depending also on the cruise line you are going with as whether you really need formal wear or not.Choose a pair of comfortable walking shoes and a more elegant pair for the evening  out. It is recommended to choose shoes of neutral colours such as black, white or beige to suit all clothes. Another tip about shoes: They can be used as storage space  for jewelry, socks, mobile charger and other small things. The shoes should be packed in bags.

Think how many pairs of socks, panties and bras you will need during your vacation. After you have decided on the quantity, put them in a cloth bag that will separate them from the rest of the clothes and equipment. This tip will also help you keep your underwear clean and also in order in a suitcase. It is recommended to roll the clothes and not fold them. True rolling will save you room in the suitcase and prevent the clothes from wrinkling along the way. The exceptions are the thicker jacket which you should fold in half and the heaviest coat to wear on your flight. Don’t bother with bath soaps and toiletries as these are usually supplied by the cruise line. Don’t forget to leave some space and weight for shopping you may do on holiday and remember in most cases you are not going to a desert, you can always get bits you forgot abroad. Happy cruising!
