P&O Oriana

I’m here in Lanzarote at the moment and can you believe I’m still working??? We’re having a fantastic time the weathers been a bit mixed think its better at home than here, but it’s really nice to spend some time together as a family and Lillie-Rose has loved it.

We’re on our way home tomorrow and I asked her if she’s looking forward to going home she said yes… I’m not, but I think she’s only looking forward to the aeroplane she loves being on them, I keep telling her it’s not long till our next holiday in October and this time she will go on a plane then a big boat as you might have seen from one of my blogs where off on the Rhapsody of the seas. Lillie-Rose and my partner Ant have never been on a ship before so I’m really looking forward to showing them both what the cruising life is all about as I love it.

The Rhapsody is probably the smallest ship I’ve been on as I’ve just recently come back from being on the independence of the seas and WOW I loved her, so it will be nice to experience a smaller ship and see how they compare.

while I’ve been here I’ve seen that P&O are getting rid of the Oriana in 2019 and been reading the reviews on P&O website from customers and people aren’t happy… Are cruise lines getting rid of smaller ships to make bigger ones? Many people like the smaller ships so why get rid of them? Is it all about money or are cruise lines just having to compete against each other that’s why they’ve had to bring out bigger and better ships?? I know a lot of people aren’t happy and have even said they won’t travel with P&O again.
