Our Finale On The Boudicca With Fred Olsen!

After our little adventure in Olden, we left this beautiful little port about 4 pm.

We were a tad sad that we didn’t do much in Olden except having a little mooch around, being honest we didn’t get to see much, If only we did an excursion with the ship then we would have seen the Glaciers but Hey Ho lesson learnt. Don’t make the same mistake as we did and make sure you do an excursion with the ship!

For the next few days, we were off cruising around the Fjords for 3 days around  Åkrafjord,  Langfoss and Karmsund.

To be honest, after having quite a few busy days off the ship in Bergan, Flaam and Olden it was nice just to have some chilled time and take in the beautiful views.

With myself and Ella meeting so many new friends on the ship, we all decided to get our chairs up on deck at the back end of the ship just to make sure we got the best views of the Fjords to take pictures and watch the beautiful sights as we sail by.

Well, when we hit Langfoss, the hairs on my arms stood up, wow the views of this beautiful waterfall were just amazing, the waterfall was just gushing down the mountainside high above us, it was unreal.

Apparently, Langfoss isn’t the biggest waterfall in Norway, but its combined height (2,008 feet) and width (205 feet) are an impressive combination. The mountainside in the background turns bright green.  It’s one of the few waterfalls in Norway that hasn’t been tapped for hydroelectric power and is still in its natural state.

The Fjords were impressive but I have to say, Fred Olsen, you did me proud.

The views were absolutely amazing and Fred Olsen you are the best! Service of your staff are just exceptional and standards on board are 1st class!

This was one of the best cruises I have done to the Fjords. I have to say a massive Thank You to all the staff on board also to Ella for taking me, we have met so many new friends it was fantastic.
