Navigator Says No To New York….

Many cruise passengers start to plan and book cruise holidays up to 18 months before you are due to travel.  We spend all of this time getting excited about our trip, planning lots of things to tick of the bucket list only for it to all change last minute.

RCCL Navigator of the Seas was due to be doing her transatlantic sailing on Monday 5th November 2018 from Southampton to Miami.

However with only a few days before she is due to depart RCCL contacted all agents and passengers to advise of a major change to the itinerary.  Due to the weather storms in the north Atlantic being monitored closely by Chief Meteorologist James Van Fleet, RCCL have made the decision to avoid New York, Boston and Orlando all together.   The ship is still due to sail but with a new itinerary as follows-

7th November 2018 Le Havre, France

This is a huge change, but the cruise is still sailing.  RCCL are offering all customers to cancel  free of charge and gain a full refund, Or if you do wish to continue on with the journey they are offering 25%  future cruise discount and additional on board credit

$100 USD for inside cabins, $150 USD for ocean view cabins, $200 USD for balcony cabins and  $300 USD for suites.

What do you think?  Would you still cruise or cancel?  I would love to hear your thoughts.

Till next time
