I’m going to be a Grandma….

This  is amazing news for our family and we cannot wait..

We have got to the stage where we can finally tell everyone our good news.

We have always been a really close family and are very fortunate our children still like to holiday with us… Will  our  new addition change our family I’m sure he or she will want plenty of attention. We will need to pack so much or our next family holiday. Cruising could be the answer sailing from Southampton we can take as much luggage as we can carry or fit in the cabin.

Cruise  lines offer fantastic facilities for infants with nursery and baby sitting so even if gran and granddad, don’t travel with you. there is still an option for that romantic dinner should you still want that.

Most cruise lines the minimum age for an infant is 6 months. However it’s worth checking as cruise lines differ.

Usually there is an age range for babysitting with Royal Caribbean it’s 12 months. With P & O they offer a night nursery aged from 6 months between the hours of 6 pm and 2 am. Some cruise lines charge for this service.

There’s no need to pack that travel cot or worry about a high chair as they can be provided. With Royal Caribbean you can pre-order Huggies ready to go nappy bags.  Also Gerber organic baby food to be delivered direct to your state room when you arrive. With P & O they provide a wide choice of Hipp baby food and organic ready to drink juice, at no extra cost with P & O. There is also the option for bottle warmers and sterilisers, baby baths, bed rails and nappy disposable units, these differ with each cruise line. Everything seems covered when taking your baby on board.

The facilities differ depending on the cruise line offering soft play arts and crafts and interactive play group sessions. The Pools can often be an issue for the younger babies as they often need for the baby to be potty trained and no nappies or swim pants allowed in mos

Well I know we will defiantly not be worrying about taking our new addition on board and I hope you don’t either.
