SO when is it ok to wear football shirts on a formal night ???

Hi All, as you know I have just had 10 fabulous days onboard MSC Magnifica around the fjords. It was amazing. However, I had a dilemma I wanted to share with you all. We were, of course, cruising during the world cup and I have to admit it was a really strange feeling on Wednesday 11th onboard as it was England versus Croatia, but to my horror also the formal night on board. My husband and I opted out of formal as we had our England shirts at the ready. So that night we chose to eat in the buffet restaurant. But I have to admit it did feel strange to be sat in football shirts on a formal night. What would you have done ??

I wanted to also fill you in on the ship. It was amazing. The ship as we embarked was beautifully clean and very welcoming, the staff were so friendly from embarkation* until disembarkation*. (*which I have to say was so easy).

The staff were amazing, especially attentive for my husband who celebrated his 50th whilst onboard, even the guest services sent a card and the cabin steward made an animal and left a message for him in the cabin. The entertainment was very different but having never experienced Opera I was blown away by it. The other shows were really well put together. The shops were wonderful too, just wish I had the bank balance for them.

The cigar room was our favorite hang out with our friends and we met some lovely people in there too.

Then the final thing that made it so special a gift from My pal at MSC of Champagne and Strawberries to start the cruise in our wonderful cabin on the very back of the ship (it was like having your own waterfall when sailing)

Thank You so much MSC , What is not to love onboard MSC , will definitely be going with them again.
