Proud of my Princess

If you follow my updates you will know I have done several updates about my time on Royal Princess recently. Today I want to share something as a proud parent about my Princess, my daughter Abigail. I mention Abbie and my Twin boy’s Will and Matthew in my about me section and the time really does fly as I have them down as being 12 and 2 years old, It shows I have been far too busy booking cruises for the last 4 years as Abbie is now 16 and the twins 6.

With Abbie being 16 she has been in the last year of school and I cant believe how hard she has worked and studied without being pushed and prompted. We have had glowing reports from all her teachers on her manner and commitment to her work and now she has finished all her exams and has her leaving assembly in tomorrow.

Yesterday was a fantastic day for her as it was her School Prom and something that she had been looking forward to all year. We all went dress shopping back in February and operation prom has been in full swing since. My house was crazy yesterday with Beautician’s, Hairdressers and all the family popping in and wanting to give her the big send off she deserves.

The prom was at a lovely country hotel near Saltburn by the Sea called Rushpool Hall. I’ve been ther a few times and the last time I was best man at my friends wedding. We all went to see Abbie with all her friends so we could take photo’s. Everyone of them looked great and really smart but as I would say as a very biased parent none looked as elegant as my now not so little girl.

She is growing up fast and now has a boyfriend and is waiting for her exam results before deciding on which college she will be attending after a few trial days.

I’m sure you will agree that my little princess is now all grown up into a lovely young women ready to take on the world and I am one very proud parent!
