Princess Announce New Addition in 2019!

No not Katherine, (She’s a Duchess anyway..) and baby number 3 is due in 2018!  I’m pleased to tell you that Princess Cruises have a new ‘baby’!.  Sister ship to the Regal, Royal & Majestic,  joining them in Princess Cruises ‘Royal Class Ships’ and due to debut in the Mediterranean in 2019!  How exciting!

Here’s what I know about her so far:

Her name is ‘SKY’

She can carry 3,560 passengers, (so she’s a big girl – but not a mega ship)

She will feature  all the favourites you would expect from a Royal Class ship, like the multistory Piazza atrium, adults-only Sanctuary,  Movies Under the Stars, as well as the standard  Royal-class features like the SeaWalk (a glass walkway that extends from the top deck) and Princess Live TV studio.

Eighty percent of the ship’s cabins will have balconies.!

Dining options will include the Horizon Court buffet and Crown Grill — the line’s signature steakhouse —   which features an array of chops, seafood and steaks served from a theatre-style kitchen. Not forgetting Sabatini’s and of course the British-style Wheelhouse Pub to Vines where you can enjoy fine wines!

Stay tuned for some exciting new features to be revealed in the coming months!

Her Inaugural Sailing is on 20th October 2019 for 7 nights from Piraeus in Athens, sailing to:   Kotor, Montenegro Corfu, Greece  Sicily (Messina), Italy Naples, Italy (for Capri & Pompeii) and Barcelona, Spain.  With  additional 7, and 14night  Mediterranean sailings departing from Barcelona & Rome before she sets sail on a 28 night transatlantic journey from Rome to Fort Lauderdale which will be her home port.

Sky Princess went on sale on Thursday 14th December 2017 and all Inside Cabins for her inaugural sailing have already sold out!
