First Family Cruise

I can’t believe that my cruise that has been booked for 18 months is now finally here.  We booked the Navigator of the Seas with Royal Caribbean back in April 2017 and at this time my daughter was booked as TBA as I was pregnant.  We have looked forward to this for a long time.  We are off for 10 nights doing the Canary islands sailing from Southampton.  I don’t normally holiday at this time of the year but I am hoping we get some decent weather.   I really think that my daughter will enjoy cruising.  I am glad we are going on a cruise as my daughter can’t actually go in water or the beach at the moment so cruising is a great way to keep her occupied.  She is still in nappies so wouldn’t have been able to use the pool on the ship anyway.  I have only been to one of the cruise ports we are stopping at so looking forward to seeing new destinations.  We had lots of talks about if to purchase the all inclusive drinks package before we go.  We have decided to do this in the end as now we know we have it all paid for and we won’t have much expense on the ship.  Sailing from Southampton is the best way for us at the moment.  I couldn’t imagine flying with all the extra things that we need for Poppy.  We are booked on to Mytime dining as we want to be able to sit just the three of us and eat early.  I have reserved times each night just so we know where we are at.  We go in less than 2 weeks now and I can’t wait.  I am hoping our first family cruise goes well.  I will let you know how we get on.
