Back from our First Family holiday

I am now back from our first family holiday and what a holiday it was.  It is the third year in a row now that we have been to Rockley Park in Dorset for one of our holidays.  This year was extra special as we had our daughter with us and it was her first holiday.  We were so lucky as the weather was amazing which meant Poppy could go to the beach and in the water a lot more than we normally would have had chance to.  We were there for 12 nights and went to the beach or the pool as much as we can.

Poppy loved the beach and especially the sea.  The beach at Sandbanks is perfect.  The sea there is very calm and clear and the beach is lovely.  We like to have a drive around after a day there to view the lovely houses.  We also spent some days at the pool on the site.  As we have owner privilege cards we get to use the owners pool.  We were sat there and it was just like being abroad with the weather and the pool.  They had a baby pool which was perfect for Poppy and to cool down.  She loved the water.

We did take a few trips out while we were there.  We had a trip to Monkey world and to Farmer Palmer’s which is a really lovely farm.  We were very fortunate to have such good weather.  On the evenings we would stay on the site as much as we could.  We did eat out a few nights in Poole.  There are plenty of places to eat on the site and Poppy loved going on the little ride in the arcade.  We did this every night with her and more than one go!

We had a great holiday and have lots of photos to look back on.  We are now looking forward to our first cruise together which is later this year.  I am already planning 2019!
