The event is being run in parnership with the Times/Sunday Times and there will be several editors and journalists also on board. Cunard marketing vice president Angus Struthers said: “It promises to be one of the most inspiring experiences for literature lovers who can indulge in their passion whilst crossing the Atlantic in luxurious surroundings.”
If this cruise is of interest to you I am able to package this together with the preceding Transatlantic sailing from Southampton to New York or to arrange to fly you out to New York to enjoy a few days in this vibrant city before relaxing with your book on the homeward journey…
Sailings for the Literature festival 2019
I was actually speaking to a regular customer recently, who is a member of a book group at home, and is set to travel on a Princess Cruise in September and has found detail of the cruise line offering a book group on board and they provide a list of books that they will talk about… Do you belong to a Book Group ? Is this something that you have ever attended a group for on board ? Sounds like a great idea to me – do let me know your comments along with your favourite Cruise reading books..
As you are reading this I will be returning from London on the train Friday morning – following a Cruise Awards ceremony, more to follow on that next time – and will hopefully have had time to read a bit more of my current book..
