Dont Get Caught Out ……

This week as all of the 2019 / 2020 that were due to be released have now come out the thoughts on all our minds is this is way too far ahead … right?  Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing next week or next month let alone next year.  Although this year I do as having a baby (Eeeeeekkkkkk) means I have placed the holiday planning on hold but other than this I do actually love to keep busy and have trips planned and organised. Sooooo ….

If you are looking for your next dream cruise for next year AND you find it! … WHY WAIT?! Ask yourself what are you waiting for?

Did you know that all the cruise lines (in fact the whole of the travel industry) work along what we call fluid pricing??

Do you know what this means? Well what I advise first of all is do not get caught out on this! I have spoken with a couple of my customers recently and within 24 hours the price had increased by £50 each.  Now of course £50 each does not sound alot but if you were happy with the previous price then all of a sudden another £100 minimum (if there is 2 of you travelling) is added on for no apparent reason then it becomes alot.

The cruise lines will fluctuate the prices according to the demand on that particular sailing, this ensures the ship is sold out as much as possible before the sailing.  Ever been on a cruise and been chatting with other guests and hearing they paid £100 less than you? This would be why!

My advice is DONT GET CAUGHT OUT! Yes of course, waiting can also mean you obtain a special offer on that sailing or a cheaper price and this does happen which is amazing when it does! However, more often than not with my 12 years experience in this industry I have spoken to more of you as customers where this comes at the cost of losing that drinks package, losing that special cabin location you loved or losing that huge amount of On Board spending money and now your left with a measeley £50 each.
