A Little Lodge Break

We all need a couple of days away , preferably every couple of months ideally! And there are so many options but this time im trying something different, im heading of on a lodge break with a couple of friends. We are heading to Driffield in Yorkshire, pretty much in the middle of nowhere although there is a small village a mile away with a couple of pubs! We are staying in a lodge on a lakeside with, wait for it, a hot tub! That is by far the best part! Just to sit and relax in the hot tub overlooking the lake will be bliss! This will be my first Hot tub lodge break and I am really looking forward to a couple of days of unwinding and relaxing, enjoying some nice food and a few glasses of wine too.

I have already had my mini cruise this year back in May onboard Independence of the Seas , I always try and do at least 1 mini cruise a year but normally its 2 or even 3, greedy I know! And dont get me wrong I absolutley love the short cruises, great food, bars, entertainment everything I could possibly need but on this occasion im branching out to something different, although im not sure how i’ll feel about such a quiet and remote location but im sure we can stock up on a few bottles of prosecco which should keep us all happy!

I have already booked up 2 short cruises for next year both with P&O  and 2020 is about to come on sale very soon so im sure ill be checking to see if there are anymore that catch my eye as I do like to book up early and grab a deal ! And who knows I may enjoy the quiet lodge tub escape and book another of those too!
