MSC Seaside… Here we come

As you are reading this I will hopefully be all packed and sorted for our family Holiday to the Caribbean.

Over a year in the planning and friends adding on along the way, there will be 11 of us heading over to Miami for Part 1 of our vacation.

It has been 18 years since my last trip to Florida and I have never been as far down as Miami so a first for many of us.

We have opted to stay in Miami beach at the Riu Plaza. I have stayed many times in the Riu chain all over the world including the US and find them a really friendly but upmarket brand. We are staying there for 2 nights to help us settle in from the jet lag and get a bearings before heading to the Ship on Saturday.

I have booked Breakfast in the hotel as we had it included in our New York stay last year, and it really helps feed all adequately at a reasonable cost without having to wander far in search of a good deal.

Breakfasts are hard to come by in US  Hotels but many hotels will offer you a reasonable offer if you plan ahead.

It will be a buffet option as it was in NY which helps when trying to satisfy the majority of us.

I have also booked the Hop on/off bus tour for the Friday, our full day in Miami. Again, used this in New York and its a quick and easy way to see all the major sights. A must in Miami due to how spread out the city is.

With a Meal booked for the Friday night, our time in Miami will draw to a close for the time being as we will head to the port to join MSC Seaside. I will post next time about what we plan to do on our adventure..

Until next time…
