Bank Holiday getaway!

Well, the weather seems to have broken just as the bank holiday approaches.

We shouldn’t grumble at all as we have experienced one of the longest spells of sunshine for as far as I can remember but Bank holidays seem to be exempt!

As my cruise is later in the year, I have the urge to get away for a few days over the long weekend. Working from home is a great perk with my job but it can sometimes seem that I never leave the ‘office’. As a family of 5 and a four legged baby too, we have travelled all over the country to various lodges and Caravan Parks over the years. It certainly re charges the batteries and nothing beats quality family time together.

Our last UK break back in May was the start of the great weather and whilst good for the humans, it meant Harry couldn’t always enjoy his walks until very late at night once it had cooled down.

This weekend we are heading quite close to home to a place called Langho in the Ribble Valley. It is a beautiful place only 30 minutes or so away from my doorstep but has some of the most breathtakingly beautiful countryside you can find.

I am looking forward to the long walks out with our dog Harry and the lack of WIFI for our youngest daughter Amelia. As the end of the School holidays is almost upon us as well, it is so nice to just switch off everything and relax.
