Harry Porter river cruises coming to the UK

Good news for all you Harry Potter fans out there. A Harry Potter River cruise is coming to the uk in the Summer of 2018. I was listening to Radio one and Nick Grimshaw announced the news of this cruise and I couldn’t quite believe it. I am not really a Harry Potter fan myself however can imagine there will be very strong demand for this cruise. After the success of Harry potter world Universal studios and the Harry Potter world in London. I know many people that have done both any thoroughly enjoyed it.

American company Barge Lady cruises  has a six-day cruise along UK rivers which sounds like a dream come true for fans of J K Rowling’s schoolboy wizard. It will take passengers to major Harry Potter filming locations including 4 Privet Drive and the Great Hall as well as on a day trip to the Warner Bros Studio Tour so muggles can fully immerse themselves in the Wizarding World and discover behind-the-scenes secrets. And throughout the trip, passengers will be dining on Hogwarts-inspired meals. The itinerary kicks off at the Hotel Stafford in London where you will enjoy afternoon tea, before moving on for a visit to Hampton Court. The next day you’ll get to explore the palace, before ending the day with cocktails and a gourmet dinner. There will also be a trip to Windsor, home to Virginia Water, the lake where Harry first meets Buckbeak in Prisoner of Azkaban. And, of course, no trip to Windsor is complete without a peek at Windsor Castle, (I’m not sure this is even in the film I think its just an old nice place to see in London)

Before you make up your mind as to whether or not do this cruise. Let me first inform you of the price. For a double Occupancy onboard this will cost you a cool £3752. You can even hire out the whole ship for £27,411. I think I would rather put that towards a deposit on a house.

Let me know your thoughts on this cruise. It this something you would do?
