Sushi, desserts and Martini’s

I think the best deck to spend time on the Celebrity Eclipse is Deck Five. This deck literally has all my go to places on the ship and they all evolve around food I may add. Below is a little about each of my favourite two and the tasty treats you can get there J

Sushi on Five

The biggest mistake you can make on this ship is missing out on this little gem just because you don’t eat Sushi! Do not let the name put you off. Yes it obviously serves Sushi as the name implies and yes, its mouth wateringly tasty (if that’s you thing) but this dining venue offers much much more. The crepes (both savoury and sweet) need to be tasted to be believed and the salads and desserts on offer will make sure this a la carte option is worth every penny.

Café al Bacio

This is my main area for people watching during the day. It’s a relaxed coffee shop area with tasty desserts, really good coffee and the best Espresso Martinis at Sea. Dont forget if you have a drinks package included with your cruise is covers your speciality coffees and those martini’s I mentioned  plus the cakes and treats are complimentary – win win!!

BREAKING NEWS IN THE CRUISE DINING WORLD

With the introduction of Celebrity Edge to the cruise line they are bringing in new and innovative technology into the cruise world and the new show stopping ‘Le Petit Chef’ dining experience is one of these things.

Celebrity have entered into an exclusive partnership with the creative geniuses at TableMation Studios. Using innovative technology they are bringing your tabletop to life with Le Petit Chef – an animated character who appears beside your plate and prepares each course you’ll be enjoying right in front of you before you’re served the actual dish.

This dining experience will be like nothing you have experienced before and is the perfect treat for a special occasion on the ship. The cover charge for this speciality dining is $55 per person and good new folks – its being rolled out across the rest of the fleet over the next year or so which means you can get to experience this culinary experience on your favourite Celebrity Ship! Qsine speciality restaurant is being gradually replaced across the fleet with Le Grand Bistro and I for one am going to put this on my To Do list.
