NEW 2018 River Cruising Programme for Fred Olsen

Fred Olsen have announced a brand new River Cruise programme starting in April 2018.

On sale now through its first river brochure, European River Cruising by Fred Olsen, will operate from April to November next year.

The line’s river ship is a 156-guest chartered vessel from Amadeus and will be called Brabant, after Fred Olsen’s passenger ship from the 1920’s. However the ship is currently called Amadeus Silver, and thanks to Fred Olsen I am lucky enough to be invited on-board this July. So if you have any questions or you too would like to be on-board, make sure you call me to discuss and book your next River Cruise.

The river programme will travel on the Danube, Rhine and Moselle rivers, with 30 departures in 2018 that range from five to 25 nights.

There are four room grades on the ship – the Juliette Balcony Suite, the Juliette Balcony Room Mozart, the Juliette Balcony Room Strauss and the Standard Room.

Justin Stanton, sales and marketing director, said: “At Fred. Olsen, we specialise in creating a ‘home-from-home’ atmosphere on our ocean cruises, and we are proud to be bringing our many decades of expertise and rich sailing heritage to the river cruise market for the very first time. In fact, the name Brabant harks back to Fred. Olsen’s historic passenger ship of the same name from the 1920s.

Clare Ward, product and customer services director, said the product is aimed at existing Fred Olsen customers who have expressed an interest in river cruising, as well as new customers.

Itineraries include the five‑night Springtime Dutch Discovery fly-cruise via London, which travels from Amsterdam to Dusseldorf, with prices from £999.
