Majestic Princess, i’ll be onboard this week to answer your questions.

Princess Cruises have been sailing the seas since way back in 1965. If you’ve never actually cruised with them you may have run across them before from their association with the Duchess of Cambridge after she named their ship The Royal Princess.

Or you may remember them from the popular TV series The Love Boat back in the 70’s that was set upon one of their vessels.

However… aside from an old 70’s show what can you really expect from a Princess cruise? How fancy are their ships and what is their typical kind of passenger?

Princess have eighteen ships in their fleet and you’ll find a lot of variety amongst the vessels which are split into seven distinct classes. You’ll find each ship in its class will be of a similar size and have similar venues and amenities on-board.

Ill be  lucky enough to be sailing on their newest ship Majestic of the ships when it comes out of the ship yard on the 31st March, i will be joining the ship in Trieste and spending 4 nights on board exploring and tasting as much as possible.

Majestic Princess is the newest sister ship to Royal Princess  and Regal Princess , offering the Princess experience and signature favorites you’ve always loved, plus exciting new features with a Chinese flair. She is also the first ship in fleet to feature a brand-new Seawitch livery design at her bow with hair flowing toward the stern.

I have never sailed with Princess before so this is a first for me and looking forward to see how it differs from the other main cruise lines.

Majestic princess is only with us in the med a short while before she sails over to the Far east where she Homeport. Majestic sails from 4th April to the 21st May from europe before it repositions and Homeports from Shanghai.
