WOW…MSC Meraviglia is incredible!!

In one of my recent blogs I told you that I would be going to the launch of MSC Meraviglia!! And on the 2nd June I did just that. As soon as we pulled up into Le Havre, France we all got very excited….we hadn’t even stepped on-board and it looked incredible. Once we were on-board…we were even more impressed. As soon as we boarded on Deck, I saw the Crystal Staircase and the fantastic promenade, it was the best thing I’d seen on a Cruise Ship.

Activities

At night the Sportsplex was transformed into a nightclub with a DJ and everything. It was a Superhero party in which all the staff dressed up as superheros. I have included a video below of all the staff doing a dance in their costumes which was really entertaining. In the same area there was also a 4D Cinema which was a lot of fun and a little scary…you either shoot at Aliens or Zombies!! Next to the 4D Cinema is the Flight simulator and oh my god it is so much fun. You can have the roller-coaster setting and you even go upside down….you really feel like you’re on a roller-coaster. Also on Deck 19 there is also an Outdoor water park called Polar Aqua-park and a ropes course. The amount of things to get involved with on board is fantastic.

In the evening we took a walk around the ship to explore and I was amazed by the indoor and outdoor pool areas, they are stunning!! There are so many Jacuzzi’s to choose from and the pools are huge. It looks beautiful at night….I just wish I had more time to go for a swim….I’ll just have to book it for my own holiday, and soon, as we have amazing deals for this coming winter!!

And of course, there has to be a Casino on-board, it is called the Casino Imperiale ad it located on Deck 7. If you don’t fancy gambling the night away you can also visit the MSC Aurea Spa on Deck 7 where they have loads to choose from, there are 20 types of massages, 20 body treatments and 30 facial treatments.

Food & Drink

MSC are known for having the best Pizza at Sea!! And they had a great selection of Pizza at the Marketplace Buffet – Mozzarella Station on Deck 15. You can try somewhere new everyday as there are 15 distinct Dining Venues On-board, including; Butchers Cut Steakhouse on Deck 7, Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant & Sushi Bar on Deck 7 and the Main Dining Room on Deck 6.

There is a great selection of Drinks On-Board!!

On MSC Meraviglia there is a bar to fit your mood. Whether you fancy sipping Champagne at the Champagne Bar on Deck 7, Creating Sweet Masterpieces in the Jean-Philippe Maury Chocolaterie on Deck 6 or relaxing with a nice cocktail in the Meraviglia Bar on Deck 6, there is something for everyone.

I was so excited to get my Key Card…I just Can’t wait to get back on board!!

Overall, I would recommend MSC Meraviglia to anyone as it has something for everyone and you would not be disappointed!! From start to finish I was impressed by the decor, the cabins, the food and the service and I can’t wait to go back on MSC Meraviglia as a customer.
