My Day on Fred Olsen’s Balmoral…Pleasantly Surprised!!

I attended a Ship Visit in Dover in which I got to spend some time on Fred Olsen’s Balmoral and I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The decor is very eclectic and I’m not sure of some of the colour schemes but the staff were really friendly and the food on-board was great. I got to see the different grades of staterooms and wow some of them were huge.

With only 1350 passengers on-board…you never feel like it’s too crowded.

Book early to reserve your table in the Spey Restaurant…And it has no cover charge.

Pick up some chocolate at the Bookmark Cafe

The Grill restaurant is transformed in the evening to a Specialty Dining Venue.

I have included pictures below of some of the different grades of cabins and I think you’ll agree that some of them are rather large and even the inside cabin looks lovely and cozy.
