An Amazing Day of Luxury On Board Seabourn Quest

Recently I was lucky enough to spend the day onboard the amazing Seabourn Quest. So, a little information about Seabourn Quest; she is an Ultra Luxury 6* Ship with a great casual ambiance onboard. Seabourn have a partnership with UNESCO and they are able to promote sustainable tourism at World Heritage properties around the world. So what does this mean for Seabourn’s guests? This means that the Cruise and experience will be enhanced by a deeper insight into these destinations. One of the amazing activities Seaburn offers is ‘Caviar and the surf’, which is a day trip to a deserted island, this will include free water sports, small boats, and kayaks to shore. And of course, Champagne and caviar are included.

Food & Drink

Dining onboard it is completely open, which means customers can have dinner at their leisure. There will be a few formal nights on each sailing but even these nights are quite casual. All specialty dining venues are also included in the price of your cruise, this includes ‘The Grill by Thomas Keller’ which is also on Encore and Ovation. This restaurant has table-side preparations and has a great atmosphere. 99% off the drinks menu is included in the price with the 1% being some special wines and champagnes. So there is a great selection of drinks included. One of the most popular dishes on board is Caviar. They have served over 1 million portions of caviar.

Ship Facts

So some of you like a smaller ship and some of you like a larger ship. Seabourn Quest is definitely a more intimate ship as it holds 408 passengers and the crew to passenger ratio is 1:1. Seabourn has only been in service since 2011 and their oldest ship is only 9 years old.

Staterooms & Public Areas

Seabourn likes to compare themselves to Ultra luxury boutique hotels rather than other Cruise Lines and I can see why.  Each cabin includes Molten brown exclusive toiletries. On Board the Seabourn Ovation all staterooms are suites and have verandas and she takes 650 passengers. If you fancy a little relaxation time whilst on board you can head to the Serene area which is only $20pp for the day.

One question we get asked quite a lot is; ‘where is the smoking area?’ On the Seabourn Quest, you can smoke by the Sky Bar and also by the Jacuzzi’s. The range of staterooms on board is amazing. Check out my Facebook here for several videos from around the ship.
