Celebrity Cruises Go All Inclusive!!

After my two night taster cruise on board the Celebrity Eclipse having such an amazing time I thought this week I would take a look at the “All Inclusive” campaign they have running if you make a booking during  July through until 1 st September. This took my eye as I have to say the Classic drinks package included on my mini cruise I found was really good value, and not only that it was nice to know that I didn’t have to worry about a rather large bar bill at the end of my cruise.

With an All Inclusive package you can relax in the knowledge your drinks are included and that is great for lots of guests. There are always mixed feelings about cruise lines and all inclusive, most of the cruise lines now offer these packages and I can safely say that the majority of my customers like the idea especially when drinks on board some lines can be a tad on the high side.

Celebrity’s new campaign includes  various drinks packages dependant upon the type of stateroom you choose and the higher the grade of your cabin the more inclusive is your package. They have  included $300 on board credit and free wifi on the higher grades of accommodation.

To give you a brief over view, to qualify for the promotion you have to choose an ocean view cabin or higher and book a selected sailing departing from October 2015 through to April 2017.

So just what do you get as part of your package…..

If you book an ocean view cabin you will receive the Standard drinks package

For a balcony or concierge cabin you will receive the Classic drinks package and also $300 on board credit.

If you decide to really treat yourself with an aquaclass stateroom or a Suite you will receive the Premium drinks package, $300 on board credit plus unlimited free wifi!

All three of the package are all inclusive packages including alcoholic drinks, prices of these package start from around £36 per night per person so are a great deal when they are included in your cruise. To put it into real terms if you were to cruise for 14 nights and choose to add the Premium drinks package this would cost you around £600 per person so for a couple it would be £1200!

As cruise consultants we see many new campaigns and offers, some of which are really successful and others not so. I think in today’s current cruise market those cruise lines who are offering some kind of All -Inclusive drinks package as part of the campaign are onto a winner, especially in attracting new passengers to cruise.
