Why Not Book On Board?

Did you know that it can be worthwhile booking your next cruise whilst you’re on board your current one?

I have a lot of customers who have got wise to the fact that if you book on board with most cruise lines you get exclusive offers and discounts as well as a low deposit offer. The deals offered vary from cruise line to cruise line, but the beauty of it is, not only do you get the on board deals, your booking is passed back to your original booking agent, so if you’ve booked with me you also get some MORE on board credit or a discount as a Thank You. Everyone’s a winner!

If you’re not 100% sure what you want to book some cruise lines offer a future cruise deposit scheme where you pay a low deposit which goes towards whatever cruise you book and usually gives you extra on board credit with at least 2 years to decide on your perfect cruise.

Also with some cruise lines you have the ability to change the cruise you book on board free of charge – see examples below.

P&O offer a low deposit of just £50 per person plus extra on board credit on top of any that is available on the current promotions:

4 – 7 nights on board = £25pp

8 – 14 nights on board = £50pp

15 – 21 nights on board = £75pp

22 or more nights on board = £100pp

Cunard give you extra on board spend of up to $400 per cabin depending on the cabin type you book and the length of the cruise.

Royal Caribbean’s deals seem to vary from cruise to cruise, but again low deposits are offered as well as extra discounts and/or on board credit.

Celebrity offer deals ranging from free tips, drinks or on board credit and also give you the flexibilty to change what you’ve booked free of charge.

MSC offer on board credit of up to 200 Euro’s per cabin and also offer a price match: should any special MSC Cruises offer become available following booking, the discounted fare will be applied.

Princess offer reduced deposits from £50 per person and extra on board credit of up to $300 per cabin.

With NCL you can get up to $500 FREE Onboard Credit to spend on your current cruise when you purchase deposits for your next one on board. The best part? The deposits are valid for four years, so you have plenty of time to plan when and where you’ll cruise next.

There are the odd few cruise lines that don’t offer any extra benefits and also don’t pass the booking back to the original agent, Marella being one of them, but the above are just some of the deals on offer for booking on board. If you’re an avid cruiser you’d be mad to miss out.!

TTFN 🙂
