My Christmas Offering

Last year I was asked to take a pudding to my brother’s house on Christmas Day and as I was going to be surrounded by chocoholics so I thought I would make something different.

It was so well received that I have been requested to make one again this year.

Choc pudding

The chocoholics Christmas Pudding is really easy to make and fun to do too. My son loved helping out.

Ingredients.
1 Chocolate Orange
2 Grab bags of Maltesers
1 Small bar of milk chocolate
Ready to roll icing.

Method.
To make just melt  a few squares from the bar of chocolate and dip a Malteser in it. Starting at the top of the orange stick the Malteser to the orange. Repeat this process working your way around the orange. Once the chocolate orange is half coated in Maltesers you may find that they are hard to stick, if this happens just pop the half coated orange in the fridge to harden. You can then turn the orange upside down and carry on.

Once your chocolate orange is fully coated roll out some white ready to roll icing into a circle. Chop around the edges with a knife to create the poured cream design.

Top your pudding with a few holly leaves cut out of green icing and red berries rolled from red icing.

To serve – just pop on a plate and cut with a sharp knife.

This Christmas I’m making one for both celebratory days. I spend one day with my side of the family and one day with Stuart’s and I’m really looking forward to them

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
