With Love from Kusadasi!!!!

About the time you are reading this blog , this will be my view for the next two weeks, and in the distance that is the beautiful resort of Ozdere in Kusadasi Turkey.

Our home for the next two weeks will be the 5* Club Paloma Sultan, and this will be my families 3rd time to this hotel.

This hotel and resort are simply beautiful and over the last few year i’m not the only one who thinks so as Kusadasi has become an extremely popular cruising port with the likes of P&O, Cunard, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity all featuring this Turkish favourite in their ports of call.

So how can you spend your day in Kusadasi? Here  are just a few of the shore excursions or trips I can arrange for you .

Ephesus was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League in the classical Greek era; and it’s your first destination for this exclusive, private tour. It’s a wonderfully comprehensive tour too. Ephesus with all its fine examples of Greek and Roman temples is just the start.  There is also an opportunity to go inside the site of the famous Terrace Houses, be astonished by the rooms and decor still in tact after thousands of years and still more artifacts being discovered on a daily basis!

Then it’s off to one of the region’s main attractions – the Temple of Artemis. From there you’ll be able to go and discover the House of the Virgin Mary, where you may enter the chapel and light a candle, or even just leave a paper note on the wall to bring you luck. Your final stop is the quaint town of Sirince.

Kusadasi Aqualand Waterpark

Fun day out for all the family,The Adaland park is a world of unlimited fun, thrills and lush greenery and is also home to a dolphin park which the kids will love!

Pamukkale from Kusadasi

A magical and spectacular natural site, unique in the world, Pamukkale is a fairyland of dazzling white, petrified castles. Thermal spring waters laden with calcareous salts running off the plateau’s edge have created this fantastic formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins.

The hot springs have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Both the thermal center with its motels and thermal pools and the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, are situated on the plateau.

On top of this beautiful beaches, great food and lovely weather what more could you want from a perfect shore day or pre/post cruise ad on.

So if you would like to know more about Kusadasi or cruise itineraries with this wonderful port in it. please call me on 0330 303 8260 or email me at [email protected].

I will be back in the office on Friday 5th June 2015 at 9am.

Allahaısmarladık, Hoşca kalın
