Top 5 Eateries at sea!!!!!!

When you think of cruising, What’s the first thing that pops into your head? Luxury ships? Fantastic ports of call? Who are we kidding FOOD has got to be close to the top of that list. So here are my top eateries in the cruising world. Places to either dine in or grab a yummy snack.

5/ Sindhu P&O Azura

One of my favourite dining options on any ship or land based holiday has to be Indian cuisine . So Atul Kochhar’s Sindhu restaurant on P&O Azura was a must for my top 5, adding some spice to the sea is a popular choice for guest onboard as they enjoy a  modern Indian cuisine with a British twist.

4/Venchi Gelateria- MSC Divina

If you have any room left after a meal Venchi Gelateria on MSC Divina is the place to go for the best Gelato (Italian Ice cream). You’ll find classic and seasonal choices — all made with 100-percent natural ingredients — rotating in daily flavors, including coconut, stracciatella (similar to chocolate chip), lemon, and of course, an amazingly rich chocolate. Very naughty but hey your on holiday!!!!!!

3/Animator’s Palate – Disney Cruise Line.

Maybe not everyone’s ideal dining location but those with children will love this restaurant with its American Flair. Celebrate the magic of Disney animation in a whole new way, surrounded by its favorite Disney and Pixar characters, with the following dinner shows:

Animation Magic: An experience that’s exclusive to the Disney Fantasy, Sorcerer Mickey leads the fun as black and white explodes into color and “Be Our Guest” reaches new heights. Don’t be surprised if your own hand-drawn characters join the colorful production!

Undersea Magic: Guests are transported to the underwater world of the Disney•Pixar film Finding Nemo. As you dine, enjoy a visit from favorite Finding Nemo characters—and even converse with Crush!

2/ The Cupcake Cupboard – RCCL

So in the afternoon you find yourself a little bit peckish, where do you go? The Cupcake cupboard of course, head for the Promenade and indulge in a tasty treat with all your favourite flavours Vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and even Bubble gum. Also if you feel truly inspired by this they even offer cupcake decorating classes on board. Read all about that in one of my previous blogs. http://www.cruise.co.uk/cruise-blogs/turnersworldtours/2013/05/16/cupcake-heaven-yum-yum/

1/ Sabatini’s – Princess Cruise line.

Sabatini’s has been recommended to me by so many of my customers which is why I have placed it No.1 on my list (I cannot argue with my customers good taste). When ever I speak to someone when they have returned from a Princess cruise they have nothing but amazing reviews of this restaurant. This  Italian restaurant, is a refined yet casual dining experience and Princess’s signature dining venue,  showcasing an Italian and Mediterranean menu with a heavy emphasis on premium seafood. Sabatina’s can be found on  a number of the general newer Princess fleet. On some of the ships Sabatini’s is also a very popular choice for its breakfast menu.

So these very few dining experiences are obviously just a “drop in the Ocean” compared to the thousands of Restaurant’s, snack bars ect.. at sea. I am sure you have your very own ideas of your favourite that you have either experienced before or wish to try in the further and I would love to hear your idea and “Top 5 eateries at sea” .
