Tell your captain “Where to go”!!!

Do you enjoy waking up in a different port every morning?????? How would you feel not knowing 100% what port you will be waking up in every morning, until you are on the ship!!!!!!!!!

Well  now you can find out as Fred Olsen have launched a new and exciting concept of cruising on one of their sailings where the passengers on the Braemar in 2015 will get the opportunity to tell the captain where they want to go next.

This 15 night cruise will depart Southampton 10th October 2015, and passengers will get the choice from 2 destination as they progress through their journey every 48 hours. During this 15 night holiday they will get to choose from options such as Vigo or Leixoes as their first port of call. Then followed by the decisions to visit Malaga or  Gibraltar, Barcelona or Palamós Costa Brava and Seville or Algarve amongst other top cruising destinations.

This unique experience, (which I can not help imagining a Saturday night prime time voice announcing “WHERE SHALL WE GO YOUUUUUUUUU DECIDE” ) is certainly very different from what we know and love the usually traditional Fred Oslen for. However with the likes of P&O and RCCL both launching new superliners maybe this is their way of shinning in 2015.

Fred Olsen have not advised us how the voting will take place onboard or the procedure behind their new concept or what will happen if there was a tie in the voting as yet, but further details will be available soon.

Nathan Philpot, Sales and Marketing Director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“This incredibly exciting and innovative cruise gives our guests the chance to ‘steer the ship’! At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, we are always striving to offer our guests a special cruise experience and I think that I can say with some confidence that this is certainly a very different type of holiday! And with a host of warm and sunny Mediterranean destinations to choose from, guests on board this fun cruise will not be disappointed!”

So what is your thoughts on this? Would you like join this cruise not know exactly where to you will be travelling to?

Would it cause an atmosphere if you and your travelling companions wanted to visit different ports????

Let me know your thoughts on this.
