Summer Fun

So we are over half way through the kids summer holidays, and for the first ever we are having a holiday to break up these long 6 weeks and I think this is the way forward.

Tomorrow along with Celebrating my father-in laws 60th Birthday which was a few weeks ago, all the Turners will be travelling to Dover to meet the P&O ferry for a week in France.

We will be staying at a La Croix de View Pont, 171 miles from Calais in a Beautiful area called Berny Rivere. This is our second visit to this park but cannot wait to go back with the rest of our family, as we had a fantastic time last year and looking forward to sharing it with them.

We have booked a luxury 4 Bed lakeside lodge cabin for our trip , and the kids are excited about spending the week swimming, horse riding, abseiling, rock-climbing, archery, zip lining,  bike riding and much much more.

On top of all this adventure we have also planned two day trips. With Disneyland Paris only 45 mins away by car, and my daughters grandparents always wanting to take them we couldn’t resist a little Disney fix after our magical Disney trip earlier this year.

In addition to this we will also be visiting the historic Château de Pierrefonds  which is only a short drive from our site. This is better known as Merlins castle from the popular BBC programme MERLIN. Now a local tourist attraction with stunning grounds  we are looking forward to a trip to view this Medieval  architectural beauty.
