Sit back, Relax and watch cats and dogs??????

Yes you read that properly you have not gone “Barking mad”!

British Airways are getting ready to launch and new on-board channel called “Paws & Relax”. Scientific research into ways to calm nervous flyers  has come back with evidence that fluffy puppies and kittens will do the trick. Armed with this knowledge BA teamed up with London’s Battersea Dog and cats home to find the stars for their new show including Alfie the Pug, Sky the Siberian Husky, Angelica the Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross and kittens Karma, Knight and Karis.

BA said it expects a schedule of specially-selected programmes to “enhance the wellbeing of customers.”

This fluffy new concept will  be  launched by BA for flyers who get the jitters this coming September. So if you’re a nervous traveller but also a pet lover, simply tune into British Airway’s new channel and  watch pet animations, puppies larking around and cats licking the camera and this should sort all those nerve out nicely.

Laura Lambert, who is responsible for rehoming and welfare at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, said: “We know that people love watching dogs and cats. They can make you laugh, smile, and cry. They are wonderful companions when you’re feeling anxious or just need a lift, and we believe that British Airways’ Paws & Relax channel will be the perfect way for passengers to sit back and relax.”

SO are you are nervous flyer? Do you think you would find this new channel relaxing?
