My Travel Bucket LIst.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!!!! are here yay!!!! 6 weeks at home with my girls. This week my husband brought home a list “50 THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU ARE 11 3/4”. Some of the things on there a pretty simple but also things a child should experience in their child hood, and this summer holiday we are going to see home many of these we can tick off.

Climb a tree.

Roll down a really big hill.

Make a mud pie.

Check out crazy creature in a rock pool.

Pick blackberries growing in the wild.

Jump over big waves and swim in the sea

Catch a fallen leaf.

So looking at this list, I was thinking about “TRAVEL BUCKET LISTS” and thing I want to do or places I want to see. Some of which I have already ticked off.

1/ Summit Plummet -Orlando Florida

The signature attraction at Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, is a high-speed waterslide with a near-vertical 12-story drop. I have never been brave enough to do it. My husband has done it once and my daughter is desperate to attempt it. I am hoping one day I will get the courage to take the plunge literally.

2/ Top of the World – Las Vegas

Located more than 800 feet above Las Vegas at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, with  unparalleled views of the city as the restaurant revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes.

This I can tick off my list. I visited this amazing restaurant in Las Vegas in 2003 with my husband, aunt and uncle. It was fantastic the food was amazing and the view was spectacular.

3/ Indoor Skydive- Quantum of the Sea.

My perfect day a sea  would be this, RCCL first skydiving simulator lets you experience the sheer thrill and exhilaration of flying. This air machine will keep you afloat in a safe, controlled environment. So you can feel the wind in your hair, and witness the view of the Ocean like never before.

4/Drink a Pint of Guinness on Temple bar overlooking the River Liffey – Dublin Ireland.

Another one I can tick of my list. In May 2005 I travelled to Dublin for my Hen weekend and we knew we couldn’t leave the wonderful city of Dublin without sampling some Guinness. We found a beautiful bar on the River. It was a fantastic weekend and a city I will definitely be return to.

5/ Visit Ground Zero – New York.

Maybe a bit of a morbid one. But I don’t think anyone will ever forget 9/11 I certainly won’t. New York is high on my list of Destinations to visit and along with shopping till I drop, seeing the statue of liberty and taking in a Broadway shop. I think a visit to Ground Zero for some reflection would be comforting.

6/ Route 66

Probably my biggest “Must do” holiday. Travel the most famous road in America in a RV motor home from Los Angeles to Chicago through 8 states. What a way to see the USA !

7/ Northern lights

Northern lights, also known as aurora borealis, dancing in the clear night sky above the fishing village of Ersfjord in the county of Troms and in my opinion best seen from a Fjords cruise trip.

So these are just a few of my places on my “Travel Bucket list”. I could sit here all added wonderful places.

What would be top of your List? Or hav.e you already visited your No. 1 Destination?

I would love to hear about your experiences
