It’s beginning to look alot like christmas!!!!!!!

Yay its Christmas and over the last week I have been feeling more and more festive.

Last week started with my youngest daughter Ruby’s first ever nativity play at nursey where she was a fluffering little snowflake, followed closely by my eldest daughter Megan’s last ever nativity. As I’m sure you can imagine I was blubbering wreck for both this big mile stone shows (I was certainly pleased my middle daughter  Abigail’s school production isn’t until Easter otherwise this would have sent me over the edge).  All three of my children attend a lovely small catholic school and they never fail to impress at this time of year, you can really tell they put a lot of hard into these performance’s to make a traditional story different every year.  Well done St Marys RC school.

So after a week of happy tears, singing  and nativities it was time for me to join the cruise.co.uk team for my first Xmas Conference. Originally the plan was for us all to join the P&O Arcadia for a short mini cruise over to Bruges, however last week we were told that she would not be returning in time from being refurbished as bad storms in Germany where she was in dry-dock had prevented a lot of work being done on time.

So in true Cruise.co.uk style and never to disappoint our managers and P&O worked together to plan a last minute fun packed weekend n Southampton and it was amazing.

On Sunday we arrived at the stunning  Solent Hotel and Spa for 2 nights. P&O had arranged for us to spend “one night in Bangkok”, which was a party venue about 30 minutes from our hotel in Eastleigh.

The package included all our food and drink for the evening,  amazing oriental acrobatics, Dodgems and Disco. We had a brilliant night meeting and catching up with friends that because majority of us are homeworkers we don’t get to see on a day to day basis.

So after a fabulous night in Bangkok, and dressed in our Xmas jumpers the following morning some of us ( A little delicate) travelled into Winchester Cathedral for a lovely Xmas Market. We enjoyed some mulled wine and a look round all the stalls before returning to the hotel for lunch and afternoon of guest speakers.

Our last evening was spent in our hotel enjoying a lovely festive meal, comedian and  very much unplanned karaoke session.  Once again great company and lots of fun, and I would personally like to thank cruise.co.uk and CCS for a brilliant and very generous weekend away.
