Home is where the mouse lives.

Have you ever been to a place over and over again that every time you go back it feels like going home.?

Disney World Orlando is that magical place for my family and I, and I am giddy with excitement to be going back home this week.

Over the next 3 weeks we are embarking on our biggest trip to the sunshine state yet.

Starting with 7 nights on International drive we will be visiting Universal Studios, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica and  as a first for us Kennedy Space Centre and Discovery Cove to fulfil a live long dream to swim with the Dolphin’s.

The next two weeks we will be heading to our happy place for 2 more weeks staying at Disney Caribbean Beach this is the 2nd time we have stayed here the first being our honeymoon 11 years ago.

In only 2 years since our last visit so much has changed. Down town Disney has become Disney Springs with 30+ next designer shops and dining venues. Star wars has taken over Hollywood studios and Frozen has invaded Epcot, theres new character meeting spots and a couple of new rides to try.

We choose this year to upgrade our free quick service dining to the popular Disney Dining plan, purely to give us a wider ranger of food. Last time we loved the Quick service and it was amazing value but ended up spending out on Character dining. With the Disney Dining plan you are given 1 x quick service still a day, but also the 1 x table service meal a day which covers every Character venue. We have pre booked some amazing restaurants including :-

  • 1900 Park fare for breakfast with Mary Poppins.
  • O’ Hanas for some Polynesian  delights with Lilo and Stitch.
  • Whispering Cannon
  • Teppan Edo for Teriyaki show cooking

These are just a few I will fill you in on the rest when I return.

Until next time see you all in 3 weeks.
