Cruising beats the heat for popularity

Well after years of waiting for a decent summer we finally have 1 and boy is it hot.

Here in East Anglia my garden has seen temperatures in the 30s everyday now for the last 6 days and I’m loving it. My plants and grass are not too keen but they’ll get what they need in the winter time.

Still with all this heat the phones and web enquiries are just as hot with families and couples looking to get away in August time. Is it too hot? Do we not trust that it is going to stay like this? Or is it that nothing beats a cruise in the summer? The latter I think.

I’m about to have 3 days off now over the weekend and have lots planned for me and the kids whilst mum is working,

Over the weekend I also have a daughter that is going to become a teenager too, heaven help me and her siblings.

Are teenage girls really that bad? I have 3 younger sisters and in my opinion, yes they are.

Anyway back to the sun, the heat and cruising. If you knew that it was going to be hot for the next 2 months, no rain and clear skies would you still book a cruise? Would you book one of the many British Isles cruises? Would you prefer to stay at home or do a camping holiday with the BBQ? Let me know, could be an interesting debate.
