My own Halloween Horror night.

Halloween is upon us and our one night a year to dress up and scare is here. Well it maybe Halloween today but I had my party Saturday and I must say it was awesome. As modest as that was, I pulled out all the stops and impressed everyone with my décor, my props, digital decorations and animatronics. I built a haunted house and walk through scare maze.

A good turnout of around 35 people attended. I love Halloween and I do believe it’s becoming more popular in the U.K with each year that passes by. Perhaps not as big as it is in America but all the same we’re starting to take it more seriously. I know we’ve had some stupid Clown craze recently. Idiots running around in clown costumes trying to scare people and not even on Halloween. That said I had already picked my costume to be Penny Wise from Stephen King’s “IT” A clown costume I just had to wear. Wasn’t going to let a few idiots make me change my mind.

Anyway, getting back to my party. I had digital decorations projecting Ghost illusions onto my windows. I had decorated the outside as well as the haunted maze in the garden. I did a little trophy for the best costume and the winner was someone dressed up as Beetlejuice. Very impressive. Everyone made an effort with costumes and make up. As you can see, this was my brother’s make up. Pretty good effect.

I decorated out the front of the house as well as the garden. I dread to think what the neighbours thought of me.

I saw recently that  Cruise was also hosting a Halloween night. I think I may have to book a cruise over Halloween so I can experience this as I’d like to think on a cruise ship, especially if it’s an American brand like Royal Caribbean. I bet they’d go all out and that would be one impressive party at sea. If you’ve ever been on a cruise ship before and had a Halloween party then let me know. I’d like to see the photo’s too.
