Who’s the Godmother???

So it has now been officially announced H.M Queen Elizabeth II will be naming the fantastic Britannia next week, how exciting! However after many weeks of whispering and speculation we are all still curious to know who will be the official Godmother.

Either way I think there would be no other better choice than the Queen to name her after all with a name like Britannia she is obviously the perfect choice. It is fair to see there is an air of excitement amongst the travel industry at the moment and the Britannia launch is at the very heart of it. 

Next week many members of the Cruise.co.uk team including myself will be heading down to Southampton to have a good mooch around so we can let you know exactly what to expect when stepping on board. After all the best way is to see it with our own eyes. And of course it would be slightly rude not to sample a scrumptious evening meal washed down with a few cheeky vino’s at the bar whilst we are there, not to mention testing out the cabins and just about every other facility we can fit into a 24 hour preview. These unfortunately are the parts of the job we have to endure.
