How good was Royal Caribbean for kids???

Well it’s safe to say we had a great time on board the Navigator of the sea’s last week, as I’ve not long got back, I’ve not managed to download all our photo’s yet so I’ll do a more detailed blog next week to divulge some of the best bits, however in the meantime I wanted to share with you my overall thoughts of the children’s activities and what I personally found on board.

Navigator here we come…..

Tomorrow we’re heading down to Southampton to join the Navigator of the seas for a 7 night cruise, and it’s safe to say we are thoroughly looking forward to it. There’s myself and my partner Mark, his Son Ashley, partner Sam and their 3 children Maddison, Oliver and Phoebe. We’ve been on count down now for the last week and as we’ve just said on the phone only 1 more sleep.

Themed cruises all the way……….

I had to smile this week when I read about Bonnie Tyler making a guest appearance on board ‘Oasis of the seas’ to help get passengers in the spirit to experience the Solar eclipse. Very clever Royal Caribbean, it’s almost as good as an episode of ‘Homes under the hammer’.

Don’t miss the boat……..

Reports are in stating that European Airports are in meltdown due to increases in security resulting in passengers been left in queues for hours on end and even some passengers missing flights even when arriving at the Airport at least 3 hours prior to take off.

Book now for 2018…..

So many passengers always ask me when is the best time to book, will we get a better deal if we leave it to a few months before the cruise departs.

At the rate cruises are selling for next year my advice is don’t delay start looking & booking now for 2018 as I”m not sure what will be left if you leave it to the last minute. I’m now quoting more & more cruises for 2019.

Princess cruises have recently proudly announced that Phillip Schofield is to become their first UK Brand ambassador. How exciting.

Not only is Phil a huge fan of fine dining and good wines he is also loved by the nation so I’m sure he will be sharing some of his experiences along side Holly on Breakfast telly, which is obviously sure to get more people catching the cruising bug.

New underwater experience for Royal Caribbean

As Cruise lines go I’ve always said I prefer the more traditional ship with no gimmicks, just good food and drink, good entertainment and company. I’m happy with that. Although I do appreciate that Cruise Lines have to move with the times to entice a new younger audience, as our more maturer customers reach a point where they can no longer travel.
