Anthems coming………..

Not being a huge fan of big ships I have to say I was hugely impressed when I watched the float out video for the Anthem of the seas earlier today. She was larger than life & I can only imagine how excited the spectators must have been when the hanger doors opened to catch their first glimpse. She successfully sailed out of Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, on February 21st, after a few delays, it had gone dark by the time she made her entrance which I think could only have added to the excitement.

She will now begin a number of sea trials on the River Ems to the North Sea to ensure she is ready for our eagerly awaiting guinea pigs departing from Southampton this summer.

Having booked a family of four on her earlier today, I have to say the Royal Caribbean deals at the moment are beating P&O by a long shot. She came in £1000 cheaper than P&O Britannia for the 15th august sailing with all inclusive drinks & on board spend on top.

If you are thinking of getting on board the Anthem this year, take a look, you don’t want to miss this……
