Got my ticket for Britannia launch

Great news this week, I’ve managed to get chance to head down to Southampton and get a sneak preview of the P&O Britannia before she heads out on her maiden Voyage. Really excited as I do a lot of P&O business and I’m really keen to see what she has in store. I’m a real foodie so I’m looking forward to having a good look at the speciality restaurants on board and can’t wait to see the Cookery club where James Martin will be kicking his magical recipe’s into touch as well as letting guests learn a few tricks of the trade too.

The ‘Market cafe’ inspired by Eric Lanlard in the atrium sounds like the place I’ll be sneaking of to, to grab a snippet of tapas. French pastry’s and fine cheeses.

I’m hoping the cabins live up to my expectation, with their sheik, cool style and design, how hard can it be. It will be nice to see P&O throw a bit of colour around the ship rather than the safe beige & red’s. In fact I’m hoping she delivers the whole wow factor that I’m expecting.

I’ll let you know in March how she measures up……
