Black Friday…. just like any other Friday then……

Well here we are, another year on, and ‘Black Friday’ as it has been called is upon us again. After all the antics and mayhem of last year with people squabbling over flat screen TV’s at Tesco’s, and eager shoppers scouring their favorite retailer for that one off bargain, I have to ask myself is all what it seems.

I love my ipad and bizarrely keep an eye on the news and trends mainly through the night when my other half is snoozing away and I’m willing myself to sleep, I’ve been keeping a close eye over the last few days at the top items on the bargain lists. I can safely say I don’t need or want any of them.

It makes me chuckle that the power of marketing makes us human beings deranged, we are all of a sudden brain washed that this particular item is the best price ever, you need it, want it, could not possibly live without it!! Heaven forbid you miss out and end up in the queue behind that savvy shopper that manage to bag the illusive item you just had to have!!!!!

Well here at cruise.co I’m glad to say that every day is like a black Friday as we endeavor to find you the right cruise for the best price, every time. I’m very honest with my customers and on at least two occasions this last week I have advised my good passengers not to book yet and to wait for a better offer to come on the particular cruise they have chosen, a promotion that suits them. Why would I sell an all inclusive cruise to passengers that do not drink, and free shore tours are no good either as they go on holiday to relax and enjoy soaking up the atmosphere on board.
