Queen Mary 2 Part 1

I’ve just been on the Queen Mary 2 for a long weekend to Bruge and here is my true thoughts and options on her, I will try and not bore you with everything I thought about her but give you valid points on each part of the ship.

The  Rooms: I had an outside cabin and my cabin was at lot bigger than I thought we had two single beds enough room to move around and little table and sofa now the only thing that I can fault with my cabin was the TV didn’t move around so if you wanted to watch it then you had to sit on the sofa now this might not bother other people but I went back to my cabin quite earlier and I’m a person that likes to lay in bed and watch TV before I go to sleep, the shower curtain was like a plastic one which I though they might have upgraded by now and put in a glass one as I don’t like the plastic one’s I don’t think there very clean and they sick to you when your in the shower.

The Service: Now the service what can I say, the service in the Britannia Restaurant was very good and the waiters was really nice apart from our last night when one of my colleagues asked for some mayonnaise and the waiter kept saying are you sure that you want some I don’t think what your eating requires mayonnaise, instead of just bringing her some he made such a big deal about it, it really put my colleague out, I believe  if you ask for something they should bring it without asking questions and making you uncomfortable, the other service ie my cabin being cleaned, well this didn’t happen the first day I was here, I came back to my cabin at 6pm at night to find my breakfast plates still in, no clean towels or the bed made, I then rang reception to let them know and ask if I could have some clean towels to shower that evening to find that no one came till the evening I thing this is shocking for a five star ship or any other star rating ship.

Please read my next blog next week to see more pictures and more of my thoughts and to see if I would go back on her and what I will say to my customer’s.
