Queen Mary Part 2

Here are my final thoughts on the Queen Mary,

The Food: I’m a person that is really funny with my food but on cruise ships that’s I’ve been on I always find the food really good and always find something I like to eat now on the Queen Mary I did find things to eat and we ate in the Britannia restaurant  every night which was fine but it’s not the best food I’ve had on a cruise ship and to say that she is 5 star I wouldn’t rate the food 5 star now I did go and have a look at the buffet restaurant at dinner times but I really didn’t like the choice that they had, the breakfast was really good but I really didn’t like the dinner times, I don’t think there was much choice at all.

The Entertainment: I didn’t see this as we was in meetings all day and then went to dinner at 8:30pm and by the time we had finished eating I was so tired I retired to bed but from what my colleagues said who did go said it was really good.

Times of Dinner: I know from now on that when I go on cruise ships that I would go for the early meal sitting as 8:30pm is far to late for me anyway, by the time we had finished eating all I wanted to do was go to bed, I would defiantly do the 6:30pm as I think this is a really good time and it gives you chance to relax and enjoy the shows really to go to bed at a good hour and still enjoy the next day.

My True thoughts on the Queen Mary: The only time I would go on the Queen Mary again is if I wanted to go to New York from Southampton or back from New York to Southampton, there would not be another time that I would go on her again, I’ve been on better ships than her and I would say that my favourite cruise line up to date is Princess yes I have only been on the Royal Princess but she was far better in everyway than Cunard, when speaking to my customer’s over the last year many have said how the service has dropped with Cunard and I total agree with them now, if you haven’t been on a Cunard ship then please try it as your thoughts might be different to mine and I hop you get better service than I did but for me she is a no no to go with again.
