New suite only dining by Celebrity Cruises

One of the best things about cruising is the fine dining.

Experiencing different restaurants and dining experiences is something I really enjoy about cruising.

Celebrity cruises are taking this to a whole new level by introducing a suite only dining. If you book a suite you will be able to dine in this exclusive restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and pay no extra supplement.

The restaurant will be named Luminae and has been designed to include menus from all over the world with a different choice each day. Wine will also be selected by the wine master to offer the perfect pairing. The experience will be like no other with varied menus and beautiful light restaurant with breath-taking views out to sea.

I think it is brilliant that suite guest get something extra special and exclusive and is very similar to Cunard who offer grill customers the same exclusive experience.

What about all the other guests? Will they miss out?

I am not convinced by the segregated facilities depending on the type of cabin you book. However saying that you certainly will not miss out on excellent dining!

There are still so many alternative restaurants that you will struggle to dine at all of them.

I cruised with Cunard last year and they have had the segregation in place for as long as I can remember. This does put some people off Cunard because a feeling of higher and lower ‘class’.  My accommodation was a standard outside cabin so dining was in the Britannia restaurant.

At no point did I feel like I was in a lower class restaurant. The dining on-board was fantastic and so was the service.
