Could the doors be opened to Cuba?

In the past it has been impossible to undertake a cruise that included Cuba as a destination if you embarked from the USA. With the recent thawing of relations between the US and Cuba a distinct possibility exists that the island might be included as this destination in the future.

This opens the possibility that many Cruise lines that are based in the Florida area may be altering itineraries to include the destination once the dust has settled following this historic announcement. At the moment it is still in the wish list of many operators, but after the momentous offer of friendship by President Obama to the near neighbour it becomes a distinct possibility in the not to distant future!
