Countdown to the launch of P&O Britannia

Just a month to wait now until P&O launch the Britannia on its maiden voyage departing 14 March 2015 to the Mediterranean.

Sea trials were completed in December and now it is a race against time to complete the interior!

The ship will feature the largest ever Union Jack! Spectacular!

The Britannia will be the largest ship in the fleet with 3647 passengers.

What else can we expect?

There are 4 pools to choose from! Take a relaxing dip or an energetic swim! 1 pool is for adults only too. This unique experience will book up quickly. Reserve your place before you travel! It will be popular!

Treat yourself to a treatment in the spa. Britannia features an alfresco area with cabanas! Very relaxing!

Kids will love the Reef, there is a teen only area deck area, age specific children’s clubs and a night nursery so you can enjoy the evening entertainment knowing your little ones are in safe hands.

I am lucky enough to be getting a sneak preview of the ship early March where I will spend 1 action packed day and night on-board this beauty! I am most looking forward to the different dining experiences on-board especially the afternoon tea and little cakes and pastries in the Market hall!

Rumour has it that the Queen will be the godmother.. wow! I hope so!
