What’s a Dream Job?

I was chatting to one of my clients today and he told me that he has a wonderful job delivering Ferraris!

That sounds good to me as I love driving and  love Italian cars and actually love most things Italian ( including my husband!)

Of course we’re not all alike in our tastes. The world would be a boring place if we were. And of course, in a ideal world, I wouldn’t have to work!

I think an ideal job is one that reflects your personal interests or hobbies. If you love playing golf, why not be employed by a golf club?

If you like riding horses, work at a stables. If you love chocolate……..you get my drift!

I love exploring our planet so I have spent the last 25 years in the travel industry. It’s not always easy and it’s not always glamorous but I love it.

I’m very lucky to have travelled to many different countries over these years and my friends and family have always been a bit envious of my “work trips”.

There are worse ways to spend a day than talking to people and arranging wonderful trips for them or being shown around a beautiful new ship, before being treated to a sumptuous lunch.

My daughter has recently been travelling to Warsaw every week with her job and I have been to Heathrow every Friday and Sunday for the past 6 weeks. Sadly, I still get excited every time I approach an airport or port, even if I’m not the one going on holiday.

So..my dream job is probably the one I do.

What’s yours?
