She’s here!

The long wait is finally over and we can all catch a glimpse of the brand new, yet to be officially launched, Royal Caribbean baby, Anthem of the Seas.

We’ve spent months here securing cabins on her inaugural season’s sailings and the excitement and anticipation has been growing and now at last, she sailed out of Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany on Saturday looking as resplendent and fantastically innovative as we all imagined her to be.

You can imagine how nerve racking this moment must have been for all those involved and you have to feel for the pilot of the tiny tug who pulled her out. What a responsibilty!

She will now begin a series of sea trials before settling into her new home port in Southampton for the summer.
