I’m on a cruise where loyalty counts!

I am currently on board MSC Preziosa somewhere between Malta and Barcelona.

Cruising

This will be the third time I have cruised with MSC and I have been pleasantly surprised each time. The ships are beautiful and the food is good.

Sometimes the staff may find communication a bit of a problem but they are all very pleasant and you have to remember that English is not the first language on board and on some sailings they may be trying to talk to seven or eight different nationalities whereas on a P&O cruise for example, you rarely hear any language other than English. Also bear in mind that providing entertainment for these diverse nationalities and tastes is not an easy task.

MSC have one of the best loyalty schemes at sea called MSC Club. After taking your first cruise with them your are eligible to join for free and you will receive a Classic Card. This entitles you to a generous 5% discount on your very next cruise. With some lines nowadays, it seems like you need to practically live on board to get any sort of reward. You will also receive priority check-in, welcome cocktails and discounts on board in the spa and shops.

Work your way through Silver and Gold to Black Card status and you will enjoy 20% off fares and many on board privileges.

I will let you know the highlights of my current trip in my next blog.

Have you cruises on Preziosa? I’d love to hear your views.
