Allegrissimo? I was!!!

Allegrissimo is the name of MSC Cruises fabulous all inclusive package which can be added for just £22 per person per night.

Allegrissimo is the superlative form of the word allegro which in Italian means cheerful or happy so allegrissimo therefore means very happy and you certainly will be if you add this bargain onto your booking. I have cruised with MSC twice this year and am speaking from personal experience!

Contrary to popular belief, adding all inclusive does not make for a ship full of drunken idiots. In fact, having access to all sorts of different beverages at all hours actually means that it is not abused and just makes good sense all round.

The choice of items included was amazing. The adult package includes unlimited wine by the glass, draught beer, soft drinks, a wide selection of drinks at the bar including both alchoholic and non-alchoholic cocktails, coffees and ice cream and bottled water.

The Allegrissimo child package is just £10 per day and includes unlimited soft drinks, fruit juices, non-alchoholic cocktails, milkshakes and ice cream.

The average price of a drink on board was between 6 -7 Euros plus service charge so just a glass of wine with lunch and dinner and a couple of bottles of water a day brings you close in cost to the package. All joking aside, I am quite a lightweight when it comes to drinking but even I got my moneys worth and more.
