Another Year over and a New one just begun.

Yes in the words of John Lennon hello 2017. I do hope you all had a magical Christmas and I wish you all a Very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New Year. The past month seems a bit of a whirlwind to me with so much happening.christmas tree
Christmas day was a very calm and relaxing event in our household thank goodness, time to chill with my family. My daughter is now 19 and madly in love (or so she thinks) so quality time is getting less and less. I was very happy she spent the whole day at home with us.

Christmas Cruise Co conference was only a week or so ago but I am still feeling the effects of the late nights and early mornings. The Christmas break was just what the Doctor ordered.

Another big event was a very close friend of mine got married to the man of her dreams. We meet on a skiing holiday when she was three years old. She was with her parents and we have kept in touch for the past twenty nine years. (she was my surrogate daughter until my real one came along) Penny has always been involved in our lives even being my bridesmaid. She was working for Holland America managing the Elemis Spa and fell in love with an officer. How romantic.
A very glittering occasion as she is very much into Disney and pretty girly things. With a dress that puts Cinderella to same she looked amazing.pen

New Years Eve was celebrated with very close friends on a small scale and we partied until the early hours, giving thanks for the amazing times we had experienced throughout 2016 and making new plans for 2017.
new year

Now for us all in travel, January and February are what we refer to as peaks we hope and expect to be really busy and we all work as and when is necessary. I always plan something special to re charge by batteries so come March 1st wee we are heading off to the Far East. A first for us and also a first holiday without our daughter, now that will seem strange. We are cruising from Singapore to Malaysia and Thailand on board Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas. Very exciting, more about that nearer the time

Once again thank you for your support and here’s to an amazing 2017.
